• The absolute accuracy of industrial robots in processing applications is insufficient due to external influences such as their series structure, gear elasticity and temperature fluctuations.
Due to the low stiffness of the robot motion, the high machining forces generated during the machining of carbon fiber parts in the aircraft industry can cause the tool center point (TCP) to deviate from its target path. These deviations cannot be measured by the internal rotary encoder of the motor, nor can the calibration program and the internal compensation of the robot controller be obtained.
Solution
• Leica tracker automatic guidance processing scheme, with 7 degrees of freedom measurement function, combined with RTFP real-time communication card, to achieve real-time control of the robot execution end.
• By transmitting the measurement data to the robot or processing equipment in real time, real-time feedback adjustments can be made to improve the absolute accuracy of the robot's motion trajectory.
• The T-MAC sensor can be fixed at the end of the robot or processing equipment, which can calculate the processing deviation according to the measurement results, correct compensation, and guide the equipment for precise processing.
